I'm not gonna close my account because jaiku is serving me well (but not perfect) at the moment. As you can read in my post and comments I'm suggesting features. You took them as I want a feed aggregator and pointed me out the same stuff I've read in the FAQ. So, that says you actually didn't read what I wrote down. What I don't like is this kind of zealot-community burying ideas that are not clearly related to the FAQ.

Also, the idea of pinging is to be able to get "certain" feeds sooner. It's meaningless to have a service that shows with a delay of 30min or 1 hour the things you have been up to.

What part of "I'd like to choose whether expanding certain feeds or not" you don't understand? Obviously, I wouldn't like to have 99 photos from flickr expanded but why not 3 songs from last.fm?. And by the way, I wan't to use my jaiku as my blog, one blog that most of the time gets updated automatically and sometimes I update with my presence. But if the people complain how I should use jaiku, I'm removing my account right now.
